If your Continuum is running very old firmware (more than four years old - before version 7), please contact Haken Audio for a one-time update procedure. Please see Section 11 of the Continuum User Guide included in the Mac and PC bundles below. If you have been updating your Continuum and it is running Firmware 7 or later, the update to Version 8 will be a simple two-step procedure.
#DMG EDITOR INSTALL#
If your Continuum is already running firmware 8.50 or later, no need to update firmware after you install the Editor from the proper bundle below. This Editor and firmware is recommended for all Continuum Fingerboards with the internal sound engine delivered before January 1, 2019. JRelease notes for Version 8.50 Continuum Editor and Firmware are available here. If you need to retain your existing presets, save them to disk using your existing Continuum Editor before updating. If you update firmware, it will overwrite the presets currently in your Continuum. Only load this firmware if you have been specifically asked to do so by Haken Audio! Contact us for more information. The official 9.00 release will be available late summer 2019. This Editor and firmware is recommended for all Continuum Fingerboards and ContinuuMinis delivered after January 1, 2019. Downloads and more information can be found at this link. This version of firmware is an example of Haken Audio’s continued support and improvements to the Continuum and the ContinuuMini, and lays the groundwork for inclusion of the upcoming Expressive E Osmose.
These Utility Presets are often a great starting point for creating new custom Presets. Of note in these new Presets are the greatly expanded number in the Ultility category. This brings the total number of Presets available to over 470. There are over 100 new Presets for the Continuum and ContinuuMini since the last release for the Continuum, version 8.50. Haken Audio firmware version 9 is for all Continuums with DSP engines (both classic action and light action) and for all ContinuuMinis.

Minimum System Requirements: Intel® Core™ i5 processor or faster 8 GB or more RAM Mac OS X 10.11.6 or later, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10. This firmware version is stable for general use, however we plan to add new features along the path to Version 10. This public beta series is paving the path to an eventual Version 10 release, which will coincide with the release of Expressive E’s Osmose keyboard, a keyboard that includes the Haken Audio EaganMatrix sound engine. Jenny Oscillator is now a choice in the Osc/Filt portion of the Matrix. New BiqBank and SineBank properties and capabilities. Overcrowding of controls has been alleviated using Control 1, Control 2, and Control 3 displays, selectable by radio button at center left.įor 2x and 6x systems, there are now 128 User Preset Slots, 16 are shown in the Editor at a time. The EaganMatrix and System Presets share the same area click on the red text “System Presets” to toggle to “EaganMatrix” display. The Editor has three Themes/Skins the “Dark” theme is default in Midi and Global Settings you can also select the “Light” or “Neon” theme.
